Networking: What to Expect
Most months, we hold small group virtual networking events.
After a bit of introduction and warm up, usually around 10 minutes after the posted start time of the event, we break into small groups of 2-3 people each for 8-12 minutes for each session.
Before each breakout, there is one large group discussion topic and then depending on the focus and if there is a theme, additional conversation starters are shared for the small group discussions.
Attendees can elect to share their contact information with other attendees at registration and within the chat during the event.
Each event has a different focus.
Virtual Networking
This event is open to all including Career Changers, and Business Owners.
As with all our events, there is a strong focus on making connections instead of maximizing the number of contacts gained.
Solopreneurs Connect
This event is focused on the Solopreneur.
The focus is on information sharing and community. Although providers are welcome, this is not an avenue for making sales or to farm emails for your mailing list.
Helping Hands
This virtual networking event is for women in business and industry to connect with emerging professionals.
This event has a strong emphasis on information sharing and mentorship.
