About the Course
Digital tools are essential to modern work and daily lives, but without intention, they can quietly contribute to burnout, distraction, and a loss of control over our time and attention.
Digital Wellbeing: Balance, Boundaries, and Better Use of Technology is a grounded, reflective, and practical course designed to help professionals develop a healthier, more intentional relationship with the digital tools they rely on every day. Rather than promoting disconnection or framing technology as the problem, this session focuses on restoring balance, setting confident boundaries, and making better use of technology in support of wellbeing and sustainable work. This course supports participants in recognizing how digital habits affect focus, emotions, and confidence. It also helps participants to identify realistic strategies to reduce digital burnout without disengaging. Through guided reflection, discussion, and actionable techniques, participants leave with a clearer sense of control over how, when, and why they use technology. By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Define digital wellbeing in a way that aligns with their work and personal values
Recognize common signs and impacts of digital burnout
Reflect on how digital habits influence focus, emotional wellbeing, and confidence
Understand the benefits and risks of constant connectivity
Set realistic and confident boundaries around email, notifications, and availability
Reduce unnecessary reliance on digital tools without disconnecting from work
Apply practical strategies that support balance, presence, and sustainable productivity.
